Picture your child moving from being bogged down by daily struggles to embracing each day with confidence and ease. They handle tasks on their own, feeling proud and purposeful. Imagine the joy and pride you'd feel watching them grow into their independence, tackling life’s challenges with newfound assurance.”

Hi! I’m Krista and I have 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist, primarily working with children from newborns to young adults, including those with special needs. I went to Rutgers University for my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and received my master's degree in Occupational Therapy from NYU.

I founded Little Bean Pediatric OT with a heartfelt mission: to bridge the crucial gap in services that families face between early intervention and the preschool years.

I have worked in a variety of settings, including:

  • Early Intervention Programs: Helping very young children at early stages of development.

  • Private Clinics and Sensory Gyms: Providing therapy specialized to individual sensory and physical development needs.

  • Schools: Supporting children in both public and private schools, helping them with their academic, emotional and social development.

  • Geriatric Home Health: Although my main focus is on children, I also have experience assisting elderly people in their homes.

I enjoy connecting with kids and really understanding what makes each child different in their own special ways!

I offer personal and effective therapy that helps children improve their everyday skills and boost their overall confidence. Together, we can tackle various challenges, making sure your child gets the care and help they need to succeed! By turning therapeutic activities into fun games, obstacle courses, and crafts, we engage children in a way that keeps them motivated and excited to participate. I love to blend fun with therapy, helping kids make meaningful progress while enjoying themselves. This approach ensures that each session feels like playtime for your child, making therapeutic development a happy experience!

In my free time I love to stay active by exercising, shopping, and crafting (everything!). I enjoy reading when I can, and cheering on my four kids at their sports games and school activities. My husband and I like savoring delicious food and desserts and traveling (think warm, tropical places!) with our kids, playing with our dog, and spending quality time with family and friends!
